Albert J. Nicholson

Albert J. Nicholson, 69, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born March 1, 1948 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Clifford & Virginia Hoffman Nicholson.  Albert enjoyed the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and had a passion for trucks and tractors.  Albert was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family especially at the cabin he built in Franklin, WV.  Surviving are his wife of 46 years, whom he married November 6, 1970, Sandy White Nicholson; daughter Tonnie Nicholson (Fomenko) and (Rodney Moore) of Bloomingdale, OH; son James (Heidi) Nicholson of Bloomingdale, OH; five grandchildren Jadyn and Janelle Nicholson and Reece, Logan and Lane Fomenko and two sisters Darlene Warrick and Cheryl Hickman.  Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Kenny Kourim, Jr. officiating.  Memorial donations may be directed to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150
