Christopher Emery Obituary

Christopher A. “Chris” Emery, 55, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 8, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1965 in Steubenville a son of the late William & Eleanor Bukoffsky Emery. Having previously worked at Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel (Severstal) for nineteen years, Chris was now employed by Sheet Metal Workers Local 33, Wheeling, WV. He was a 1984 graduate of Wintersville High School and an active member of Jefferson County Sportsmans. Chris served in the Army and is a member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557.

Chris is survived by his wife Kimberly A. Kovach Emery; daughters Christine (Brad) Warren of Irondale and Julie (Tanner) Schoen of East Liberty, OH; brothers William “Tom” (Norma) Emery and Harvey “David” (Nancy) Emery; sisters Robin Emery Barr, Debbie (Ken) Mitchell and Lisa (Charlie) Anderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law Harry & Jane Scott; and beloved canine Cheyenne.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road on Wednesday 5-7 p.m. Post 557 services at 7 p.m.

Masks are required and visitors are asked not to linger after paying respects.
