Jo Ann Conn

Jo Ann Conn, 70, of Wintersville, Ohio peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 16, 2023.  She was born on October 26, 1953 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late John & Margaret McCloud Shablack Sr.  Also preceding her in death is one brother, John Shablack Jr and beloved mother-in-law Betty F. Bowers. 

Jo Ann is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Arthur “Ed” Conn; son E.J. (Dezarae) Conn & grandson Evan and three sisters Patricia Minto, Barbara (Rodney) Tolbert & Kathy (Delmus) Byrd, as well as many loved nieces and nephews. 

Jo Ann retired in 2021 after many years working in the food service industry. She most enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. 

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio 43953 on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. with Rob Minto officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
