Paul Welling Obituary

Paul E. Welling, 86 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away at home on November 15, 2023. He was born in Goulds on July 6, 1937 the son of the late Earl & Helen Townsend Welling. Preceding Paul in death were his son Matthew Welling; sister Deanna Hurst; and mother of his five eldest children Mary Ann Mazzaferro.

Paul was a baker for Wonder Bread Co., member of Survivors and Seekers of Yellow Creek; an avid hunter and fisherman and member of GKL Sportsmans Club. Paul seldom missed a Big Red football game. Paul served eight years in the US Army Reserves.

Paul is survived by his wife Jacqueline Borsick-Welling; children Robert (Shannon), Mark (Marianne), John, Sandra Tressler, Lorren Rogers, Michael, Luke, Charla Armstrong and Dustin Welling; sister Pauline Albrecht; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Sunday 1-3 p.m.; where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Burial at Fort Steuben.
