Randy M. Stacy, a life long resident of Bloomingdale died Monday, June 28, 2021 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was 66. Randy was born in Steubenville on August 15, 1954. The son of the late Randall Stacy and Madeline E. Talbott Stacy Zambito of Florida. He graduated from Wintersville High School class of 72 where he wrestled, played football and ran track. After graduation he attended West Liberty State College. Randy retired from ATI AlVAC as a Logistic Engineer with 15 years of service and previously worked at TIMET for 30 years. He worked construction on the side and loved woodworking and building things, especially Lego sets to pass the time. He always enjoyed feeding his birds at home and growing roses. Throughout his life, Randy was involved with sports, whether coaching or umpiring, you could always bet he had a score card on him. For over 45 years, Randy coached youth baseball, wrestling & football. He currently was a Franciscan University Baseball Coach. He is a member of Crossroads Christian Church, Wintersville, where he served as a Deacon for the past 9 years and Director of Upwards Youth Ministries for the past 6 years. Love and service to the Lord is what he lived by.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lisa Portocarrero Stacy, whom he married on February 21, 1976, daughter Shanna (Doug) Knight of Wintersville, son Jeremy (Stephanie) Stacy of Carmel, IN, six grandchildren, whom he loved and adored and watched all their sports either in person or online, Madeline, Easton, Landon, Gavin, Peyton and Marley, mother Madeline E. Talbott Stacy Zambito, brother Kevin (Leane) Stacy, and sister Cheryl (Lenny) Boys.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Crossroads Christian Church, 110 Springdale Ave., Wintersville from 1 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m., where services will be live streamed at www.come2crossroads.org/live-stream and on Crossroads Christian Church Facebook page with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Teramana Cancer Center c/o TEAR FUND or Crossroads Christian Church, Upwards Youth Program. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville OH.
