Obituary
Rose M. Petrella, 92, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at The Laurels. She was born on December 6, 1930 in Follansbee, WV a daughter of the late Paul & Henrietta Bonitatibus Thomaselli. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceding Rose in death were her husband Brad Petrella on October 5, 2008; brothers Tony, John, Paul & Arthur Thomaselli; and sisters Jeana Durazio, Connie Conchel & Annie Gump.
Rose is survived by two sons John (Deanna) Petrella & Brad (Gail) Petrella; daughter Nancy (Tom) Schloss; three grandsons Mark Schloss, David (Emily) Schloss & Nicholas Petrella; great grandchildren Sage, Ava, Augustine & Felicity Schloss; brother Albert Thomaselli and sister Norma Henson.
We would also like to thank Rose's wonderful caregivers, Kim Gardner, Misty and Maddie Bitgood, Courtnie Calhoun, Suzie Stine and Patricia Harris. They are the reason that Rose was able to live in her own home.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m
Funeral liturgy with mass 11:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
